Throwback Thursday: 1052 Manzanita Street in Silver Lake

Today’s post is the fabulous Marks House on Manzanita Street, just south of Sunset.  The restoration of this 1908 three-story bungalow was designed by R.M. Schindler, whose design plans were implemented after his death in August of 1953.  The snazzy mid–century light filled spaces have remained untouched since that year. Check out the photos to see how well the design and materials have held up for the last 63 years!
